A portion of the proceeds from the ‘Waves for Willie’ shop will be donated to the Wilhelmina Jane Schnetzler foundation. Wilhelmina (Wonder Willie) was a beautiful soul who lost a courageous battle to glioblastoma, an aggressive type of brain cancer, in 2021. She was just ten years old. Willie had a strong passion for swimming and loved being a member of the Wedgewood swim team. She was also a beloved member of the Powell community, attending Liberty Tree Elementary and Powell United Methodist Church. The Waves for Willie design represents her favorite color. She loved all things teal! This foundation was created to fund research and clinical trials for pediatric brain cancer, specifically glioblastoma.
